PCMS Ltd is proud to support the NHS and UK Government’s ambition to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050. As a small, service-based organisation with a relatively low environmental footprint, we have set an accelerated target to reach Net Zero by 2045—five years ahead of the national goal.

To help achieve this, we are actively implementing measures to reduce our carbon impact, including:

Remote and hybrid working practices to minimise travel-related emissions

Cloud-based systems to reduce reliance on physical infrastructure

Digital-first operations, including paperless processes, virtual meetings, and e-tendering

Sustainable procurement wherever feasible

We remain committed to aligning our efforts with the principles of the NHS Greener Plan and will continue to review and evolve our practices. Transparent reporting and continuous improvement will remain at the heart of our approach
