We are proud to share the latest results from the NHS Health Checks Summer Newsletter (July 2025), which highlight the exceptional performance of practices across Buckinghamshire—and once again, PCMS-managed sites are leading from the front.

The 2024–2025 results are in, and Chiltern House Medical Centre and The Mandeville Surgery have secured the top two spots in the county for NHS Health Check delivery. Chiltern claimed the number one position, with Mandeville following closely behind. These achievements are especially notable as Buckinghamshire recorded its highest volume of NHS Health Checks since before the COVID-19 pandemic—an outstanding 14,777 completed across the county.

This success is a direct reflection of the dedication, coordination, and patient-focused approach embedded across PCMS-managed practices. Both Chiltern and Mandeville continue to champion proactive cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention, early detection, and patient education—delivering impact where it matters most.

PCMS has consistently prioritised population health, data-driven service delivery, and a collaborative model that empowers staff through regular training, feedback integration, and innovation. From streamlined invitation management using Health Diagnostics to supporting positive lifestyle changes through “Making Every Contact Count” (MECC) conversations, the efforts of our teams are helping to build a healthier Buckinghamshire.

We also celebrate the value of patient feedback, with many individuals expressing their appreciation for the motivation, clarity, and care they receive during their NHS Health Check. This human impact is at the heart of what we do.
